Department of Commerce (Islamic Finance)

The Department of Commerce (Islamic Finance) was constituted in the year 2023. We are offering a three year under graduate programme in Commerce with specialisation in Islamic Finance. This course has been designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of conventional commerce concepts and principles, as well as a deep understanding of Islamic finance principles and their application in the business and financial sectors. It involves studying core commerce subjects like accounting, management, costing, economics, marketing along with specialised courses in Islamic Finance such as Islamic commercial law, Islamic banking, Islamic accounting etc. This combination of knowledge equips graduates with the skills necessary to work in financial institutions and businesses that operate in compliance with conventional and Islamic principles.

We are on a mission to nurture a pool of ambitious and highly skilled professionals who are perfectly suited to the growing demands of the corporate business sector. We strive to foster an intellectually stimulating environment that nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities among our students.
