Programmes & Intake

The Department of Education at SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (Autonomous) was established in 2025, following the National Council for Teacher Education’s (NCTE) invitation to launch Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) in multidisciplinary institutions, as notified in 2024. In response, the college submitted its application and proposal to NCTE, based on which the Southern Regional Committee of NCTE issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) under Order No.: F.No.NCTE/SRC/2526202404242281/KERALA/2024/LOI Dated: 16/04/2025.

As per the LoI, the college has proposed to offer one unit (50 seats) each for the following Integrated B.Ed. Programmes. It is important to note that the final recognition and approval of these programmes is still pending with NCTE and is subject to their review and acceptance of the follow-up submissions made by the institution.
